Probably a year ago we saw Askville, an Amazon product coming into limelight. But since then we haven’t seen any such huge impact from their side.

Askville is more like Yahoo Answers, or should I say it was, as if we compare these two – we will see a huge difference between both the Products. Yahoo Answers, a big success and a life line for Yahoo and contrary to that Askville has been another ordinary site on WWW.

Here are the few points to draw a comparison between the Two

Point 1:
Yahoo Answers – Popular, Friendly and simple with clean interface and Askville - Lost cause and too many things tried at once.

Point 2:
Yahoo Answers has points system where as Askville has Quest Coins. With the coins, still people are thinking what the coins will be good for.

Point 3:
Yahoo Answers has its own way of representing things whereas Askville is more like a pool of information scattered everywhere.

Point 4:
Yahoo Answers has kept things very clear and organized, Askville has tried to copy them by shuffling things.

If I sit to pull things like that then I will end up with 100 odd points, which I don’t think nobody would be interested in reading it. In short, either Askville has to bring some new fresh ideas or soon they will be seen in the same pool where Google Answers is.
