I have dial-up so surfing is still &#039;painstakingly slow&#039; for me. I will get broadband one day soon.

Freebies are good - I think it&#039;s a great resource. But with everything comes a price. Take Blogger or Flickr or even MySpace for instance - who truly owns all the content? You also tend to have less control over coding and design.

Like I said, freebies are cool. It empowers a lot of people, but in some ways, it also disempowers them.
