chrome is sweet and simple, and it looks pretty with the themes. I like how I can click a link from a website but instead of opening on another window it opens on a new tab; less window clutter. Plus I have all my bookmarks and files saved directly on the browser, easy access

I’m using Chrome for the first time right now! It’s pretty awesome!

I thought it was exellent, clear precise, unambiguous and a five year old could understand it.

nice and fast. An easier access to bookmarks would be good rather than having to go to the right hand side all the time.

Chrome is very fast and neat, but its not possible to disable tabbed browsing, I simply cant live with that.

That freeze is being caused by webkit, it happens on safari as well, it’s trying to catch the buffer quickly to load the java.. That’s a trick it uses to appear to be faster, when firefox is in reality a faster browser

another thing, it seems to be leaking a lot of memory. i have no running apps besides chrome and after only having 5 tabs open my ram usage shot up to 60%. not good.

im kinda having trouble w/ chrome. i just installed it for testing out after having firefox forever as my main browser. my main beef with it is it stalls one while loading a page. it’ll just get stuck and unresponsive for a couple of secs while doing it. this happened after getting the adblock and cooliris extensions. i have a ton of addons on FF and its not causing me any degredations in performance whatsoever as my pc is running on pretty good specs.

zFlyer13 March 11, 2010 at 11:05 am

faster than opera

Toontown821 March 11, 2010 at 11:43 am

Chrome is really fast. :)

scuzzbuzzproductions March 11, 2010 at 12:36 pm

Mine downloaded when I downloaded Google Earth.
I didn’t even realise.
It didn’t ask me to import my bookmarks or anything.
I don’t really care about that though.
I love Google Chrome!!!!!
It’s amazing.
Better than Internet Explorer and Firefox.

X’s

@NTL808 Rigth now there are 2056 addons for Google Chrome. Click on the wrench tool and select ”extensions”. Then click on ”Get more extensions”.

JLtheking2 March 11, 2010 at 3:36 pm

Chrome rocks! =D.
Though the lack of addons make it not as good as firefox…

shawnwoolsey117 March 11, 2010 at 4:15 pm

NTL808 March 11, 2010 at 4:40 pm

As computer technology and the web advances, it makes updating the browser not only a good idea, but a necessity. If youre still using Internet Explorer 6, then youre three years behind. Microsoft no longer even supports this web browser. But instead of upgrading to 7 or 8, you should free yourself from Microsofts evil regime and try a free, fast, and secure alternative!

irfanhandono March 11, 2010 at 6:03 pm

When you first use any Microsoft Operating System, such as XP or Vista, the default web browser is Internet Explorer. That doesnt mean youre forced to use it, and it certainly doesnt mean its the best out there. Microsoft is trying to create a monopoly in the internet browsing market, by forcing computer users to run IE instead of having the freedom to choose your own browser.

You can download skins for it now.
